Our Team

 Phillip graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and has been in the insurance industry since 1992. He began his insurance career with BB&T Insurance Services and has worked for a regional commercial insurance brokerage firm. He has also owned and operated his own full-Service insurance agency in Raleigh, NC.

Phillip has extensive experience developing and implementing risk management programs for small to large businesses by analyzing their coverage, identifying exposures, and offering solutions that protect their assets, prevent and mitigate future claims, and reduce overall insurance cost. 

Phillip’s specific experience is built around years working with artisan trade contractors, chain and independently owned restaurants, chain and independently owned convenience stores, manufacturing, and trucking companies throughout Southeastern North Carolina.  

Phillip resides in Lumberton, NC, has 3 children, is a veteran, and served in the North Carolina National Guard from 1984-1992. Philip enjoys spending time with his family and is active in his community.
